KFD offers a range of programs including environmental conservation, community education, vocational training, healthcare outreach, and sustainable agriculture initiatives. Each program is designed to empower local communities in the Karen region.
To apply for our scholarship program, visit the Education section of our website and complete the online application form. Applicants must be between 16–25 years old, reside in an eligible community, and submit academic transcripts along with a personal statement. The application deadline is March 31 each year.

KFD primarily operates in the Karen State of Myanmar and along the Thailand–Myanmar border regions. Our field offices are located in Mae Sot, Chiang Mai, and several community-based locations within Karen State.
