Join the Kawthoolei Forestry Department for our biggest public event of the year: the Annual Community Tree Planting Drive! As part of our strategic objective to restore degraded lands, we are calling on citizens, local businesses, and student groups to help us plant 10,000 native saplings in a single day.
What to Expect:
08:00 AM: Registration and breakfast (provided by KFD).
09:00 AM: Briefing on proper planting techniques by our forestry experts.
09:30 AM: Tree planting begins.
01:00 PM: Closing remarks and community lunch.
Gloves, shovels, and saplings will be provided. This is a family-friendly event and a fantastic opportunity to directly contribute to a greener, more resilient ecosystem. Please RSVP through our contact page so we can ensure enough supplies for everyone. Let’s grow our future together!
